From the Creative Minds Behind Hockessin Hot Spot Six Paupers

From the creative minds behind Hockessin hot spot Six Paupers, perennial winners of Delaware Magazines "Best of" Awards, comes Ulysses, a modern take on the popular English gastropub trend. With an emphasis on creative cuisine presented in an unrivaled atmosphere Ulysses is the answer to your dining doldrums.

With a name and interior that draws inspiration from James Joyce's tale of Leopold Bloom as well as paying homage to their presidential past, Ulysses brings much needed flair to the Delaware restaurant scene. The gastropub represents the next step and third establishment for the Lucey brothers, Stephen & Michael.

After the sale of the wildly popular Union Street hang out Dead Presidents Pub in 2009 the duo focused efforts towards preserving the high standard of excellence Six Paupers was founded on. Simultaneously opening the North Wilmington location on the same quality oriented principles that made Paupers a success. Mixing big city chic with innovative takes on farm fresh ingredients, Ulysses will stimulate all senses while maintaining focus on customer service and satisfaction.
